Students help to build educational apps

A first grader works to design an app.

Some district first graders can now add developer to their resumes.

This fall, Stephany Clarke’s class at Eagle Point Elementary School is play-testing online coloring and creativity apps with a digital content creator from Crayola.

The professional developer visits weekly to introduce game design while also collecting student feedback, giving Eagle Point students the chance to think critically and a voice in the final product which will be enjoyed by children all around the world!

Danielle Faseun’s prekindergarten students are also participating in the beta project.
