Elementary Summer Program inspires curiosity and joy

A student builds a structure out of toothpicks, clay and paper.

It’s Friday which means it’s at the district’s elementary-aged summer programs.

At Sheridan Preparatory Academy - which also serves learners from 麻豆影院 International Academy, Eagle Point Elementary, Montessori Magnet School, New Scotland Elementary and Roots Academy at West Hill - the theme was fairy tales so younger students built chairs that could withstand a visit from Goldilocks and older students constructed catapults and load-bearing paper structures.

The City School District of 麻豆影院’s Elementary Summer Program (ESP) emphasizes hands-on lessons and exploration that allows students to develop a love of learning beyond the typical classroom experience.
